The School offers a range of exciting undergraduate programmes. Our teaching facilities are excellent, and the calibre of the teaching and support staff ensures a high quality teaching experience for students.
At postgraduate level we offer a range of innovative taught programmes, in addition to research programmes across the fields of geography, politics and sociology. With a postgraduate community of over 100 students, the School provides a vibrant intellectual environment for study.
The School's research is world class and internationally-focussed. In addition to the established disciplinary strengths in geography, politics and sociology, the School is a powerhouse of inter-disciplinary research. Much of its research aims to inform public debate and contribute to public policy.
